Venho recebendo todos os dias uma mensagem que diz que meu navegador esta defasado, diz que o monzilla firefox versão 128 não é mais compátivel, ai pede p eu atualizar ofirefox ou baixar o chrome ou edge, gostaria de saber se de fato é uma atualização q é necessário q eu faça, ou se pode ser golpe.

acontece com outras pessoas tambem, já fiz o teste, toda vez que abro o navegador mozila (firefox) abre sempre uma caixa de atualização, sempre, eu atualizo e no outro dia, de novo, então algo chato e não incentiva a usar por causa disso, tem solução??? uso o Windows 10 o navegado sempre ao abrir ou acessar e caixa de conntrole de usuario, e diz premite esse aplicativo fazer alterações nesse pc, é muito chato isso, a pessoa quer acessar e usar pronto. tem solução nisso?? ou pode fazer uma atualização nisso, eu sou usuario e vejo com muito chato isso para a usubilidade.

Firefox Web: The application is currently unusable. Over the last month it has been a complete mess in Firefox. The browser console is flooded with CORS/Cross-Origin errors, and because of that, no images or icons are rendering correctly. The page is missing most visual assets, making it very difficult to use or test.

Is there any way I can keep Mozilla from updating so often? There seems to be an update at least once a week, sometimes three times a week. And every time I agree to update, Mozilla erases everything and reboots the browser (or some other tech lingo I don't know). I lose all my preferences and then to recover I have to gob here and there (I don't remember the step-by-step honestly). I requires me to save information from another browser to bring it to Mozilla (again and again and again). The layout changed so often I don't even bother personalizing it anymore. Because, every time I update, everything disappears Iand I have to do it all over again. Honestly, I don't see any differece between the old version x the new version. Could you please show me how to stop Mozilla from updating so often? It is frustrating.

Eu precisava formatar o computador, mas antes eu sincronizei o dispositivo usando o próprio firefox sync nativo do navegador e deixei ativado histórico, abas abertas, senhas, extensões e configurações, então eu formatei o computador e quando eu baixei o firefox novamente, fiz o login e não me veio NENHUMA DAS SENHAS, algumas configurações tb n vieram e as abas abertas vieram apenas o link principal, mas quase todas essas abas tinham várias páginas pra voltar que não aparecem de jeito nenhum(e eu me interesso muito), já tentei sincronizar no celular, reinstalar o navegador, nada adianta, não sei se foi porque o firefox resolveu lançar uma atualização justamente no dia que eu formatei(21 de junho de 2026), mas eu quero minhas senhas e abas de volta.

Segue o anexo da sincronização que fiz no firefox 152 que tem as coisas que eu quero.

Estou tentando baixar e instalar o Mozilla Firefox no meu computador, mas não estou conseguindo concluir o processo. Preciso de ajuda para identificar o problema e instalar o navegador corretamente. Se possível, gostaria de receber orientações passo a passo para realizar o download e a instalação.

I tried to open an Issue on GitHub but I couldn't send any requests, so I am going to explain here... I was developing my application using the FireFox Browser for Windows, when the Browser notified me a lot of errors. I got confused, because the same code was working correctly, on chrome, but in firefox it is working normal. This is not the first time, it happened several times. but I tried to use to programming some school projects, I updated but it still happening. I lost one project, and I hope that in the future this problem will be fixed, I telling this to Mozilla team, because I love Mozilla Projects and I love to use the Firefox. but, because of that, I needed to use chrome and I am not secure to use FireFox again until this bug get fixed.

About my project I was using just HTML, CSS and JavaScript it was a simple project. if this information help you, you can consider that. Unfortunately, I am writting this on chrome right now.

I am deploying Firefox Enterprise (MSI) in an Active Directory Domain environment via corporate OS deployment images.

I am reporting a severe issue with recent versions regarding the "Open Firefox automatically when your computer starts" feature. The browser is forcing this behavior globally on new profiles without any user opt-in or consent, which violates standard enterprise deployment principles.

The Behavior: A fresh installation of the Firefox Enterprise MSI is performed.

A new Active Directory user logs onto the workstation and opens Firefox for the very first time.

Completely silently, Firefox writes a randomized hash entry to the user's startup registry: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run -> Mozilla-Firefox-XXXXXXXX with the -os-autostart argument.

If you check the Firefox settings UI, the option "Open Firefox automatically when your computer starts up" is checked by default.

Why this is an Enterprise Deployment Issue: Bypasses corporate control: In a managed environment, we cannot have web browsers arbitrarily adding themselves to the Windows startup sequence. It degrades logon performance, increases memory overhead on VDI/Terminal Services, and disrupts change management.

Breaks policies.json / HKLM GPO constraints: Even if we attempt to lock this setting down using browser.startup.windowsLaunchOnLogin.enabled = false or disableCreation = true via enterprise policies, Firefox seems to run the registry injection routine before reading or honoring the enterprise policy framework on the very first execution.

Winget updates make it worse: When winget upgrade updates the browser, it purges the local distribution/policies.json file, triggering this forced injection behavior all over again on subsequent launches.

Steps to Reproduce: Install Firefox Enterprise MSI on a clean Windows machine.

Log in as a new user (who has no pre-existing Firefox profile data).

Launch Firefox once and close it.

Check HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. The Mozilla-Firefox-XXXXXXXX string is present without the user ever clicking an opt-in prompt.

Expected Behavior: Firefox Enterprise should never opt-in to startup tasks automatically. The default state for browser.startup.windowsLaunchOnLogin.enabled must be false in the Enterprise MSI installer, or at the very least, it should strictly respect the GPO/policies.json barrier prior to interacting with the Windows HKCU registry.

Is this an intentional behavior change in the current lifecycle, or a regression bug in the MSI installer's initialization code?
